Saudi Arabia and the UAE signed on Wednesday four memorandums of understanding (MoUs) and reviewed 7 strategic initiatives during the second meeting of the Saudi-Emirati Coordination Council in Abu Dhabi.
The MoUs cover the fields of culture, health, space for peaceful purposes and food security, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
The meeting was chaired by Mohammed bin Salman, Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince and Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi.
Prince Mohammed and Sheikh Zayed also reviewed the following strategic initiatives:
1) Setting up of petrochemical complexes and refineries in developing countries (India’s refinery project).
2) Facilitating trade movement between both countries.
3) Cyber security cooperation.
4) Food security.
5) Issue of digital currency.
6) Joint tourist visa
7) The Saudi Emirati Youth Council
