Wafa Insurance appoints new CEO

The Saudi Indian Company for Cooperative Insurance’s (Wafa Insurance) board of directors approved the appointment of Siraj Jamal as new chief executive officer (CEO), effective as of today December 9, 2019. 

 

The insurer said in a statement to the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) that the above-mentioned decision was approved by the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) on December 8.

 

The new CEO served as the firm’s chief financial officer since July 2017. He is experienced in risk management and administrative affairs, the statement added.
