Saudi Arabia has no intention to change expatriates fees, Mohammed Al-Jadaan, Minister of Finance, said in an interview with Al-Arabiya.
In another statement to Al Ekhbariya TV, Al-Jadaan said that the value-added tax (VAT) will be kept unchanged at 5%, noting that there are no current plans to raise this ratio.
This came on the sideline of the press conference held on Monday Dec. 9 to announce the new Kingdom’s 2020 budget, where the Saudi minister also asserted that the citizen’s account program will remain effective in 2020.
