Appeal court to hear GO’s appeal against CITC on March 2

Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication Co. (GO) said in a bourse filing that Riyadh Administrative Court of Appeal will hear its appeal against the Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC) on Monday, March 2, 2019.

The telecom operator cannot assess the related financial impact at this point of time, GO added in a statement to Tadawul.

In August 2018, the company filed a lawsuit moving Riyadh’s administrative court to cancel CITC decision to reject GO’s request to get the unified telecom license. 

In October, the administrative court rejected Go’s claim, and both parties were granted 30 days to appeal.
