Saudi Basic Industries Corp. (SABIC) signed six deals with international companies to enhance long-term cooperation, and create strategic alliance to exchange and apply best practices to achieve its strategic goals, it said in a statement on Sunday.
The six companies are Coperion, ABB Group, Yokogawa, Mitsubishi, Emerson, and Baker Hughes.
The Tadawul-listed company aims at exploring opportunities, promoting manufacturing excellence, improving cost, transferring technologies, and developing talents, in line with the Vision 2030. It also aims at providing local opportunities for talents, suppliers, products, and services.
Yousef Abdullah Al-Benyan, vice-chairman of SABIC, stressed that strategic cooperation benefits all the parties, indicating that nearly 55% of the total chemical output in the region operates through partnerships.
