Saudi Arabia’s General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) said that trial run of Arar Domestic Airport will start today, Dec. 30, 2019, as it welcomed an afternoon flight operated by Saudi Arabian Airlines Corp (Saudia) arriving from Riyadh.
The number of flights will be increased gradually, over the next few weeks, serving the new terminal bound from Riyadh and Jeddah with Saudia, as well as Dammam with flynas.
The airport’s total cost amounted to SAR 382 million, with a capacity of more than one million passengers per year, GACA said in a statement.
