Saudi-based Rezayat Logistics Group signed an agreement to set up a logistics hub at the Port of Duqm with an investment of $15 million (SAR 56.2 million).

Under the agreement, the company leased 4 hectares of land within the port’s logistics zone to set up Rezayat Logistics Oman (Duqm branch).

The investment will cover services that include temperature-controlled, chilled, frozen and general warehousing, heavy transportation, equipment rental, crane rental, and general transport, Port of Duqm said in a statement.

“The modern, strategically located, and well-equipped Port of Duqm is a critical piece of infrastructure and key to the success of the region’s development,” Andrew Ritchie, country manager of Rezayat Logistics Group, said.
