NATPET recommences operations at Yanbu’s polypropylene plant: Alujain

National Petrochemical Industrial Co. (NATPET) resumed operations at its propylene and polypropylene facilities (PP) in Yanbu Industrial City, Alujain Corp said in a statement to Tadawul on Sunday.

 

NATPET, which is 57.4% owned by Alujain, successfully completed trial operations at the plant, which completed 72 hours of continuous operation, the statement added.

 

In October 2018, a fire broke out at NATPET plant in Yanbu.

 

NATPET signed in February 2019 a contract with Tecnimont Arabia Co. Ltd. (TAL) to reinstate the units damaged by fire at its polypropylene (PP) complex.
