Tadawul suspends trading on Alujain Holding ahead of event disclosure

The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) suspended trading of Alujain Holding on Sunday for 1 session, a bourse statement said.

 

The suspension is in accordance with the listing rules and comes upon the request of the company as it will announce an event, the statement added.

 

The trading of the shares of Alujain Holding will resume on Monday, March 9, 2020. On Thursday, The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) suspended trading on Alujain Holding shares for 1 session only ahead of a material event disclosure.

 

Today, the company announced that it requested developments from its subsidiary, National Petrochemical Industrial Co. (NATPET) related to their merger and still awaiting for its response.

 

Tadawul lifted today, March 8, the trading suspension placed on the shares of Alujain Holding following the disclosure of a crucial event. The stock was trading with a 1% up at a price of SAR 33.40 per share just before suspension.
