Saudi Company for Hardware (SACO) has temporarily closed 15 showrooms in several malls across the Kingdom until further notice, in line with the government measurements to contain the coronavirus.
The company said in a bourse filing that the move came in response to the directives of the government to safeguard its citizens and residents, as well as to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) in the Kingdom.
In a separate statement, the company announced the closure of 3 other showrooms in Riyadh, Hail and Jazan.
The company further noted that it is currently difficult to assess the financial impact of the closure, adding that any material development will be announced in due course.
