Lazurde Company for Jewelry (Lazurde) temporarily reduced working hours at all its retail showrooms in Egypt due to the outbreak of the coronavirus, effective from today, March 25, until further notice.
The step comes in line with the Egyptian government’s recent procedures to control the spread of coronavirus, the company said in a bourse filing.
Accordingly, showrooms will open from 10:00am to 17:00pm from Sunday to Thursday and will be closed on Friday and Saturday.
Lazurde added that it cannot determine the financial impact at present, and further details will be announced in due course.
According to data compiled by Argaam, Lazurde announced on March 16 the temporary closure of its retail stores across the Kingdom, in line with the government efforts to control the spread of novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
