NMC Health revealed a new strategic plan aimed at fulfilling the company's financial as well as operating stability, stated executive chairman, Faisal Belhoul, in a statement.
"The new plan will help the company provide top medical services, in line with the country's efforts to curb the COVID-19 outbreak," said Belhoul.
Meanwhile, he confirmed prioritizing the payment of salaries and financial dues of the medical staff.
Belhoul revealed the company's new strategy one week after starting his new position.
"I pledge to cooperate with the competent authorities in UAE and UK to settle all pending issues. However, I request the creditors to temporarily delay their claims, to help the new management team implement the new recovery plan, which will reflect positively on all parties," Belhoul stated.
He also noted that placing the company under guardianship and imposing more pressure on liquidity will weigh negatively both on the company and lenders amid the COVID-19 outbreak.
Belhoul highlighted the importance of the company’s role in the national health care sector.
