Lazurde says coronavirus precautionary measures will affect operations

Lazurde Company for Jewelry’s (Lazurde) operations will be impacted due to the government’s recent precautionary measures, such as temporary closure of shopping malls and retail stores, until further notice.

The company is fully complying with the government's directive to curb the spread of coronavirus, it said in a statement to Tadawul on Wednesday.

The retailer added it cannot determine the financial impact of the closure at present and will disclose any further developments in due course.

On the private sector’s financial support packages, Lazurde said it is working closely with relevant authorities to identify the support mechanism and feasibility.
