National Company for Learning and Education (NCLE) confirmed the continuation of its operations and education programs as the company activated virtual schools within 24 hours following the suspension decision.
The education provider said in a bourse statement today that the e-learning platform caters to all students and teachers through latest technologies by providing interactive content, virtual lessons, discussion room, homework and quizzes.
Such measures have so far resulted in more than 83% daily attendance for students and 100% for teachers to increase interaction levels regionally, the statement added.
The company is currently working closely with relevant authorities to identify the mechanism and feasibility of the private sector’s support package previously announced to minimize the financial impact of the COVID-19 precautionary measures.
NCLE will announce any material changes related to operational and financial matters in due course.
