Finance ministry fulfills SAR 210 bln payment orders in Q1 2020

The Ministry of Finance announced on Thursday that it has disbursed nearly 104,000 payment orders in the first quarter of 2020, at a total value of SAR 210 billion.

 

The ministry fulfilled SAR 238.6 billion worth of about 156,200 payment orders, while the pending payment orders amount to SAR 28.6 billion.

 

The ministry disbursed SAR 20.1 billion within 15 days of claims, accounting for 87% of the total disbursed amount, while 12% of the total disbursed amount were disbursed from 16 to 30 days valued at SAR 2.8 billion, and 100% of the total disbursed amount were disbursed within 60 days valued at SAR 23 billion.
