Jabal Omar shareholders to vote on amending bylaws on May 13

Jabal Omar Development Co.’s shareholders are set to vote on amending bylaws during the extraordinary general assembly meeting that will be held on May 13, 2020, the company said in a bourse statement.

 

Shareholders will vote on amending bylaws related to the company’s objectives by adding 2 new objectives as follows:

 

-Developing and construction of Jabal Omar area near by the western area of the holly mosque or any other areas within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

 

-Laundry and restaurants services.

 

They will also vote on amending bylaws related to board membership policies and powers, the powers of chairman, deputy chairman, managing director and board secretary.

 

Jabal Omar’s shareholders will also vote on appointing Mohamed Al Kanhal as an independent board member starting from May 11, 2019 until the end of the current term on June 29, 2021. Al Kanhal will also be appointed as member of the audit committee starting from Feb. 17, 2020 until the end of the current term.

 

Meanwhile, they will vote on appointing Thalib Al Shamrani as an independent board member starting from March 29, 2020 until the end of the current term on June 29, 2021.
