Saudi Arabia records 1,172 new COVID-19 cases in 24 hours

Saudi Arabia recorded 1,172 new coronavirus cases today, bringing the total number to 15,102 cases, the Ministry of Health said.

 

Six new death cases were reported, raising the total death toll to 127.

 

Meanwhile, recoveries reached 124, bringing the total number of recovered cases to 2,049.

 

The Ministry of Health spokesperson Muhammad Al-Abdel Ali said that Saudis represented 25% of the newly reported cases, and most of them are related to the active screening.

 

Madinah reported the highest number of new cases at 272). It was followed by Makkah (242), Jeddah (210), Riyadh (131), Dammam (46), Jubail (45), Hofouf (40), Al-Khobar (30), Taif (21), Bisha and Baish (16 each), Hafar Al-Batin (13), Al-Hada (10), Unayzah (8), Hail (7),

Buraidah (6), Rabigh (5), Thurayban and Sakaka (5 each), Jizan (4), Sajir (4), Yanbu (3), Mahd adh Dhahab, Al-Wajh and Duba (3 each), Buqayq, Al-Qunfudhah, Al-Qurayyat, Arar, Heda, Al-Zulfi (2 each), Qatif, Al Hanakia, Al Muwayh, Alqarei, Rafha, Al Majma'ah, Howtat Bani Tamim, Hawtat Sudair, and Al-Muzahmiya (1 each).
