Al-Omran Industries & Trading Co. announced today that it will partially reopen its showrooms in Saudi Arabia.
The company said in a bourse filing that the move came in response to the directives of the government to partially lift the Kingdom-wide curfew (except in Makkah) to contain the COVID-19 outbreak and allow the resumption of certain economic activities from 9am to 5pm for the period from April 29-May 13, 2020.
The showrooms will operate in accordance with the government guidelines on public health and safety practices, including mandatory temperature checks, face masks and hand sanitization, as well as physical distancing.
Al-Omran will continue to ascertain the financial impact of the updated measures and will disclose any developments in due course.
According to data compiled by Argaam, Al-Omran announced on April 9 the closure of all showrooms located in cities specified under the 24-hour curfew directive until further notice.
