Lazurde Company for Jewelry’s (Lazurde) retail outlets in Saudi Arabia, except in Makkah, will remain partially open until May 22 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
The company added in a bourse filing that the decision came in line with the new governmental directives on May 12, 2020, to partially lift the Kingdom-wide curfew (except in Makkah) to contain the COVID-19 outbreak and allow the resumption of certain economic activities from 9am to 5pm between May 14 and 22.
The retail outlets will operate in accordance with the government guidelines on public health and safety practices, including mandatory temperature checks, face masks and hand sanitization, as well as physical distancing.
Moreover, all Lazurde stores will close in accordance with the updated government guidelines of public health and safety which stipulated the return to a 24-hour curfew from May 23 until May 27.
It is difficult to determine the financial impact of the updated measures at present and any further developments will be announced in due course, the statement noted.
