1) The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) resumed official trading hours for all listed securities as of today, May 31, 2020.
2) The number of retail investors on Tadawul stood at 5.5 million by the end of Q1 2020, with 4.14 million males and 1.36 million females.
3) Saudi Public Transport Co. (SAPTCO) will resume intercity services today, May 31, 2020.
4) The total trading facilities granted by authorized brokerage firms to clients on Tadawul jumped 26% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 11.76 billion in Q1 2020, the highest level since Q4 2016, when it hit SAR 11.78 billion.
5) Brent crude on Friday gained $1.81 to reach $37.84 per barrel. WTI Crude also increased $1.78 to reach $35.49/bbl.
