Non-founding foreign investors – namely swap holders, residents and qualified foreign investors (QFIs) – increased their ownership in the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) to 1.53% in the week ending May 21, from 1.51% in the previous week, on net purchases worth SAR 2.26 billion, market data showed.

GCC investors' ownership in the Saudi market remained unchanged at 0.43% for the week, compared to the previous week.
In addition, foreign investors’ ownership, including strategic partners, grew by 0.02% to reach 1.97% for the week, compared to the previous week.
Founding foreign investors accounted for 0.44% of the total foreign ownership in the Saudi market for the week ending May 21.
