Saudi Arabia records 1,881 new COVID-19 cases on Monday

The total number of coronavirus cases in Saudi Arabia increased by 1,881 to 87,142 as of Monday, June 1, the Ministry of Health announced today.

 

Recoveries reached 1,864, bringing the total number of recovered cases to 64,306, representing 74% of total registered cases.

 

22 new death cases were reported, while the death toll hit 525.

 

A total of 668 cases were reported in Riyadh, followed by Jeddah (293), Dammam (290) and Makkah (164)

 

In addition, a total of 15,854 tests were conducted today, bringing the total number of tests to 838,620.
