Al-Babtain Power and Telecommunication Co. will adopt electronic voting as of June 6 on the agenda items of its ordinary general assembly meeting (OGM) that will be held on June 10, according to a bourse filing on Thursday.
The step follows the Capital Market Authority’s (CMA) directives enabling shareholders to participate and vote on related meeting agenda through Tadawulaty system in line with the government’s efforts to prevent spread of coronavirus.
Last month, Al-Babtain invited shareholders to vote on authorizing the board of directors to distribute interim dividends on a semi-annual or quarterly basis for the fiscal year 2020, during the OGM slated for June 10, according to data compiled by Argaam.
