Saudi Arabia records 3,045 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday

The total number of coronavirus cases in Saudi Arabia increased by 3,045 to 101,914 as of Sunday, June 7, the Ministry of Health announced today.

 

Recoveries reached 1,026, bringing the total number of recovered cases to 72,817, representing 71% of total registered cases.

 

Thirty-six new death cases were reported, while the death toll hit 712.

 

In addition, a total of 717 cases were reported in Riyadh, followed by Makkah (623), Jeddah (351), Dammam (257), Al Hofuf (132), Qatif (120), and Madinah (110).

 

The total active cases currently receiving treatment amounted to 28,400 cases, of which 1,564 are critical.

 

A total of 25,036 tests were conducted today, bringing the total number of tests to 958,240.
