Lazurde Company for Jewelry (Lazurde) announced today that its retail stores in Jeddah will remain open from 8am to 2pm until June 20.
The retailer said in a bourse statement that the decision falls in line with the latest government regulation that re-imposed strict measures against COVID-19 in Jeddah for 15 days from June 6-20, in response to an evaluation of the health situation in the city by relevant authorities.
The stores will operate in accordance with the government guidelines on public health and safety practices, including mandatory temperature checks, face masks, hand sanitization, and physical distancing.
Lazurde is ascertaining the financial impact of the updated measures and will disclose any developments in due course.
On May 31, the company had announced the reopening of its retail outlets in Saudi Arabia following the government’s decision to end coronavirus curfew starting June 21, except in Makkah.
