Saudi Arabia lifts, today June 21, the nationwide COVID-19 curfew, according to an official source at the Ministry of Interior.
All economic and commercial activities will resume, while Umrah visits, international flights, as well as land and sea border crossings will remain suspended until further notice.
On the other hand, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development raised the percentage of workplace attendance to 75% across the Kingdom.
Under a flexible work system, employees will work in three groups starting from 7:30 am, 8:30 am and 9:30 am.
Other employees, who are not included in the government authorities’ attendance, will continue remote working.
Social distancing procedures will continue , and gatherings for social purposes are not allowed to exceed 50 people.
The above mentioned measures will be periodically reviewed by the Ministry of Health, and penalties will be imposed on violators, the source added.
