United Wire Factories Co. (Aslak) will adopt electronic voting on June 25, 2020, for its ordinary general meeting (OGM) that will be held on June 29, according to a bourse filing on Thursday.
The move came after the Capital Market Authority (CMA) issued, on March 16, a circular to enable shareholders to participate and vote on general meeting agenda items through Tadawulaty system in line with the government’s efforts to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
Shareholders are set to vote on authorizing the board of directors to distribute interim dividends on a semi-annual and quarterly basis for the fiscal year 2020.
Shareholders will also vote on business contracts signed with Romoz Company for Trade in 2019, worth SAR 8.7 million, which include sales on commercial terms and without preferential conditions.
