AlBaha announces update on lawsuit against Al Sateaa Modern

AlBaha Investment and Development Co. announced that the lawyer assigned to Al Sateaa Modern Construction Co.’s lawsuit informed the company that all documents related to the case were filed as per the request of the related department.

 

Any further updates will be announced in a timely manner, the firm said in a bourse statement on Tuesday.

 

On April 1, AlBaha’s session was suspended by the court as part of the Kingdom’s measures to prevent spread of the Coronavirus.

 

In January 2019, AlBaha appealed against the ruling received on Jan. 27, 2020, related to its case with Al Sateaa Modern Construction Co.

 

In August 2016, AlBaha received a court order requesting the implementation of a previous administrative court order in favor of Al Sateaa Modern Construction Co.

 

Later, in February 2017, it obtained a ruling to stop the implementation until the order is corrected.

 

The initial order required AlBaha to make a payment of SAR 3 million, evacuate 134 plots in Al Taif and evacuate the poultry project land in Al Aqeeq.
