Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance Co.’s board of directors approved today, July 28, the resignation of chief executive officer (CEO), Daniel Whitehead.
Whitehead stepped down citing personal reasons, the company said in a bourse filing on Tuesday.
The board appointed Sultan Abdul Raouf as the new CEO effective August 5, 2020.
The insurer clarified that the decision was approved by the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) on July 23, 2020.
Abdul Raouf has more than 25 years’ experience in the management field. He holds a master’s degree from Cleveland University in accounting and financial systems and a bachelor's degree from King Abdulaziz University in accounting.
