Index compiler MSCI Inc. will review Saudi Aramco's weight after adding the bonus shares, in its quarterly review on August 12, 2020.

All changes will be implemented by the close of trading on August 31, 2020, and will be effective as of Sept. 1, 2020.

The Securities Depository Center Company (Edaa) transferred Saudi Aramco’s bonus shares into the eligible shareholders’ accounts on July 25, 2020, Argaam reported.

Eligible Saudi retail bonus investors, who continuously and uninterruptedly hold offer shares the date on which Aramco’s shares debuted on the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) until the end of trading on June 7 (the end of the bonus shares holding period), will be entitled to receive 1 share for every 10 allocated offer shares, provided that the number of shares does not exceed 100 bonus shares.
