King Salman approved Saudi Arabia’s strategy for data and artificial intelligence (AI), Saudi Press Agency reported, citing Abdullah Al Ghamdi, President of the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA).
This strategy will help the Kingdom’s business sectors, as well as programs, to implement the Vision 2030. It will also address the most pressing priorities and will set up new terms for competitiveness to brace for international leadership.
“This strategy requires the collaboration of both public and private business sectors to capitalize on data and artificial intelligence initiatives to help the Kingdom become one of the world’s top countries in this field,” he stated.
In addition, it has a key role in the implementation of 66 of the Kingdom’s goals, which are directly or indirectly related to data and artificial intelligence.
