The Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) presented a draft law to regulate creating and managing health insurance risk pools, it said in a statement.
The authority has called on the public, specialists and interested parties to express their observations within 30 days, starting August 19, 2020.
This came as part of SAMA’s continuous efforts to develop the insurance sector, support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and facilitate their access to insurance products at fair coverage and prices. SAMA confirmed that all opinions and observations that will be sent on ic.pol@sama.gov.sa will be the subject of study for the purpose of adopting the final version of law.
