Bandar Alkhorayef, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources and chairman of the Saudi Export Development Authority (SEDA), said that “Made in Saudi” program is in the pipeline, Al-Eqtisadiah newspaper reported.

The new project aims to stimulate national industries and encourage consumers to buy local products, the minister explained, adding that Saudi products are of high quality.

The industrial sector is facing a key challenge, when competing to other industries. It should be the main attraction for investors.

“Many promising opportunities are available and we’re working to benefit from them,” Alkhorayef said, adding that Saudi Arabia is currently stimulating foreign investment in the industrial sector.

The Kingdom is well-placed to capitalize on the fourth industrial revolution, the minister concluded.
