Saudi Arabia records 1,114 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday

Saudi Arabia recorded 1,114 new COVID-19 cases today, Aug. 25 bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 309,768, the Ministry of Health said.

 

Recoveries reached 1,044, raising the total number of recovered cases to 283,932 (92% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

The Kingdom reported 31 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 3,722.

 

Active cases totaled 22,114, of which 1,639 cases are critical.  

 

Makkah reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 74 each, followed by Jazan (56), Jeddah (54), Khamis Mushait (53), and Riyadh (51).

 

The Kingdom conducted 58,707 new tests, bringing up the total number of tests to 4.79 million.
