Saudi Arabia records 781 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday

Saudi Arabia recorded 781 new COVID-19 cases today, Sept. 8 bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 322,237, the Ministry of Health said.

 

Recoveries reached 623, raising the total number of recovered cases to 298,246 (92.6% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

The Kingdom reported 30 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 4,137.

 

Active cases totaled 19,854, of which 1,428 cases are critical.

 

Jeddah reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 62, followed by Makkah (58), Madinah (51), Dammam (50) and Riyadh with 43.

 

The Kingdom conducted 48,690 new tests, bringing up the total number of tests to 5.5 million.
