Saudi holdings of US Treasuries decline to $124.6 bln in July 2020

Saudi Arabia’s holdings of US Treasuries reached $124.6 billion in July 2020, down by $361 million month-on-month, new data released by the US Treasury showed.

 

The Kingdom remained at the 16th position among the largest holders of US debt in July 2020.

 

Saudi Arabia’s holdings of US Treasuries were distributed among long-term bonds of $90.87 billion, representing 73% of the total, and short-term bonds of $33.71 billion, accounting for 27%.
