Saudi Arabia’s Mohammad Al-Tuwaijri, the Royal Court Advisor, will go through to the next round of the World Trade Organization’s (WTO) director-general selection process, the Geneva-based body said on Friday.
Al-Tuwaijri advanced to the second round with Kenya’s minister Amina Mohamed, former Nigerian Finance Minister Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, South Korean Trade Minister Yoo Myung-hee, and British ex-minister Liam Fox.
On July 8, Saudi Arabia nominated Al-Tuwaijri, as its candidate for the post of Director General of the World Trade Organization (WTO), Argaam reported.
