Saudi Arabia records 551 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday

Saudi Arabia recorded 551 new COVID-19 cases today, Sept. 19 bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 329,271, the Ministry of Health said.

 

Recoveries reached 1,078, raising the total number of recovered cases to 309,430 (94% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

The Kingdom reported 28 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 4,458.

 

Active cases totalled 15,383, of which 1,166 cases are critical.

 

Jeddah reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 51, followed by Makkah (50), Madinah (42), and Hufuf with 27.

 

The Kingdom conducted 49,035 new tests, bringing up the total number of tests to 5.92 million.
