Saudi Arabia records 481 new COVID-19 cases on Friday

Saudi Arabia recorded 481 new COVID-19 cases today, Oct. 2, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 335,578, the Ministry of Health said.

 

Recoveries reached 602, raising the total number of recovered cases to 320,348

(95% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

The Kingdom reported 29 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 4,823.

 

Active cases totaled 10,407, of which 970 cases are critical.

 

Jeddah reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 40, followed by Madinah (37), Hail (31), and Riyadh with 28.  
 

The Kingdom conducted 51,632 new tests, bringing up the total number of tests to 6.59 million.
