Foreign investment in Saudi Arabia increased by 10% year-on-year (YoY) to around SAR 1.885 trillion in Q2 2020, compared to SAR 1.715 trillion a year earlier, according to the latest data issued by the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA).

Foreign direct investments (FDI) accounted for 47% of total foreign investments in the Kingdom, equivalent to SAR 896.01 billion.
Portfolio investments hit SAR 580.49 billion, while other investments stood at SAR 408.44 billion.
