Saudi Arabia records new 477 COVID-19 cases on Tuesday

Saudi Arabia recorded new 477 COVID-19 cases today, Oct. 6, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 337,243, the Ministry of Health said.

 

Recoveries reached 557, raising the total number of recovered cases to 322,612 (96% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

The Kingdom reported 25 deaths, with the death toll standing at 4,923.

 

Active cases totaled 9,708, of which 932 cases are critical.

 

Madinah recorded the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 71, followed by Makkah (46), Al Hofuf (36), Yanbu (29) and Riyadh (28).

 

The Kingdom conducted new 50,785 tests, bringing up the total number of tests to 6.78 million.
