Emaar EC names Jamal bin Theniyeh as chairman

Emaar The Economic City’s (Emaar EC) board of directors appointed Jamal bin Theniyeh as chairman, and Abdullah Ibrahim Al-Howaish as deputy chairman, during a meeting held today, Oct. 8, the company said in a bourse statement.

 

Karim Shawqi Murad was named the secretary of the board of directors.

 

The board also appointed the following to the nomination and remuneration committee: Ahmed Bushnaq, Abdullah Ibrahim Al-Howaish and Arif Al-Harmi.

 

Also, Mohammed Al-Hefni, Abdullah Ibrahim Al-Howaish, Osama Barian and Arif Al-Harmi were appointed to the executive committee.

 

The board also appointed Mohammed Al-Hefni, Karim Shawqi Murad and Adel Atallah Al-Jabarti as representatives of the company for purposes related to the application of laws and regulations at the Capital Market Authority, the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) and the Securities Depository Center Co. (Edaa).
