The international rig count – excluding US and Canada – saw a decrease of 45 units month-on-month (MoM) in Sept. 2020, bringing the total count to 702, Baker Hughes energy services firm, a subsidiary of General Electric Co., said in its rig count report.
The rig count in Asia-Pacific fell 31 to 169 in Sept., compared with August.
The rig count in the Middle East also dropped to 282 last month.
The rig count tumbled by 31 units worldwide to 1,019 in Sept., from 1,050 in August 2020.
