Jadwa Investment funds lead top-performing peers in 9M 2020

Argaam tracked the performance of 53 out of 250 Saudi mutual funds with net assets of over SAR 100 million for the period ending Sept. 30, 2020.

 

Jadwa Saudi Equity Fund - Class A, managed by Jadwa Investment Co., was the top performer with a return of 12.79% as of September 2020. The fund’s strategy focuses on increasing invested capital in the long-term via investing in targeted securities such as Saudi equities listed on Tadawul or non-Saudi markets including primary and secondary versions.

 

Jadwa Saudi Equity Fund - Class B, also managed by Jadwa Investment Co., was ranked second, with a return of 12.15%.

Meanwhile, Al Raed Saudi Equity Fund, managed by Samba Capital, was the worst performer, with a 3.16% return. The investment fund aims to develop capital in the long-term primarily via investing in the equities listed on Tadawul and the Nomu-Parallel Market, including REITs.

 

It was followed by Riyad Blue Chip Equity Fund, managed by Riyad Capital, with a return of 2.14%. The fund aims to develop capital in the long-term by primarily investing in Tadawul-listed stocks, especially market heavyweights.
