Saudi Arabia records new 348 COVID-19 cases on Monday

Saudi Arabia has recorded new 348 COVID-19 cases today, Oct. 12, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 339,615, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 509, raising the total number of recovered cases to 325,839 (96% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

The Kingdom reported new 25 deaths, with the death toll standing at 5,068.

 

Active cases totaled 8,708, of which 842 cases are critical.

 

Madinah reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 53, followed by Makkah (38), Al Hofuf (28), Yanbu (27) and Riyadh (24).

 

The Kingdom conducted new 45,703 tests, bringing up the total number of tests to 7.06 million.
