Al-Etihad Cooperative Insurance Co. (Al-Etihad) announced the resumption of all services across the Kingdom, in line with the implementation of the business continuity plan, according to a bourse filing.
This came though the power outage continued in the company’s headquarters, which reflects the insurer’s prompt response and resilience in addressing crises, in addition to keenness to serve its clients under all conditions.
The company confirmed that its services related to health insurance claims are not affected and will continue to be provided without interruption.
According to data compiled by Argaam, a floor collapsed in a building adjacent to the company’s headquarters in Al Khobar, following which both buildings were evacuated and the power supply was disconnected.
As a result, the company’s operations and services in all branches are temporarily suspended.
The insurer expects a temporary negative impact on Q4 2020 sales, and the relevant updates will be duly revealed, the statement added.
