Jeddah Municipality will sign today, Oct. 21, an investment deal to build the first integrated city for workers’ housing in Abraq Raghama Municipality, according to an official statement.
The deal is part of the municipality’s plan, under the supervision of the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs, to develop workers’ housing, as well as introduce regulations that help create promising investment opportunities in the sector.
The housing project came in line with the updated medical regulations related to these projects within the urban development scheme, as the municipality seeks to provide affordable and healthy housing units for workers, in compliance with COVID-19 precautionary measures.
Such projects will create profitable investment opportunities to cater to the sector’s needs and help provide safe and environment-friendly housing units for a vast category of private-sector workers.
The project comes under the auspices of the advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, and the governor of Jeddah.
