Saudi Arabia records 405 COVID-19 cases on Wednesday

Saudi Arabia recorded 405 COVID-19 cases today, Oct. 21, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 343,373, the Ministry of Health said.

 

Recoveries reached 445, raising the total number of recovered cases to 329,715 (96% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

The Kingdom reported 18 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 5,235.

 

Active cases totaled 8,423, of which 804 cases are critical.

 

Madinah reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 92, followed by Makkah (44), Riyadh (34) and Khamis Mushait (18).

 

The Kingdom conducted 51,643 new tests, bringing up the total number of tests to 7.51 million.
