Saudi Arabia aims to rank among top 15 nations in AI by 2030, says official

Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority president Abdullah Alghamdi said the Kingdom aspires to be ranked among the top 15 countries in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) by 2030.

 

“We will train 20,000 specialists and experts. We will have 300 active startups in data and AI,” Alghamdi said during the virtual Global AI Summit.

 

He added that the Kingdom aims to attract $20 billion in foreign direct investment as well as local data and AI investment.
