Saudi Arabia posted a trade surplus of SAR 18.4 billion in August 2020, data issued by the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) showed.
Total exports declined 25% year-on-year (YoY) in August 2020 to SAR 57.4 billion. Similarly, imports dropped 17% YoY to SAR 39 billion during the same period.
Oil exports fell 34% to SAR 39.6 billion in August 2020. Also, non-oil exports grew 6% to SAR 17.8 billion.
